One Step Closer to a Black Belt
WOOOOHOOOOO!!! We had our Taekwondo testing tonight. Hubby, Bubba and I all passed. Bubba is a Brown Belt decided (that's what the black stripe means) and Hubby and I are blue belt recommended (every color has two steps - recommended and decided. We just came from purple belt decided.)
Here is Bubba with two of the instructors (and owners of the school - husband and wife team. They are such great teachers. One of the things that I really love about being in Rocklin is going to this Taekwondo school.)
Anyway, I'm glad it's over. Because we traveled for Thanksgiving, we were a short on classes, so we've been working hard to make them up the past two weeks. We did and we went to testing and I am glad it's over. Testing makes me so nervous - there are a lot of people watching!
Anyway, it felt good to pass and it feels good to hit the next belt. Yay! Another one bites the dust!! Our TKD school is having a tournament in January, and because it's our school, we will all be competing. Yes, I will be competing in a Taekwondo tournament in January. I think I might just be crazy. Hubby is competing too - and of course Bubba - but he loves the competitions. I'll let you all know how it goes!
