And this is what I heard...
I was walking to my mailbox this evening around 9pm and this is what I heard...
- The crickets chirping.
- The neighbors sprinkler going.
- A whistler firework a few blocks over
- Kids laughing down the street finishing up their basketball game.
- The click of a dog's claws as he and his owner walk by.
- A television overheard through an open window.
Lastly, this is what I heard - my own deep breath - the day is done...
